Mammoth Mountain has announced that they will be closing winter operations at the end of the day on May 27th. Summer operations on the Mountain are going to start on May 24th. On that day the Bike Park opens with limited trails, Sierra Star Golf Course opens and the Adventure Center starts offering rock climbing, junior zip line, etc...

Living near The Village at Mammoth means you are in proximity to the Village Gondola. The Village Gondola serves as the entrance to Mammoth Mountain. Mammoth Mountain has a global reputation as one of the best ski mountains.
I know I keep saying this, but summer really is my favorite time of year in Mammoth Lakes and the Eastern Sierra. This summer feels more special. I think that is because it feels like we fought for it. This past winter, the biggest on record, felt like it would never end… and it still hasn’t, at least on Mammoth Mountain.
