Spring Skiing is Knocking

Spring is knocking but Winter needed one more hurrah and so we awoke to an inch of fresh snow. Mammoth Mountain will be open for skiing and riding through Memorial Day but the days are nice enough that lots of people are out on their bikes (me included… photos below) and a couple of friends have been paddleboarding already.

Mammoth Lakes Real Estate Update

Rocksprings Development

Below is a rather bad photo of a vacant lot where Nevado’s Restaurant used to be. This is the north/west corner of Main St and Minaret, just across from Mammoth Brewing. It was bulldozed yesterday in order for construction to start on the Rocksprings project. It is going to be a 118 unit condo development with a Scandinavian theme. The units will be full ownership. There is lots of building going on in Mammoth which indicates that developers have great confidence in Mammoth’s future.

Weekly Real Estate Update

Inventory is still low but since I have been saying that most weeks, this may just be the new normal. It is a lot better than Christmas of 2022 when there were 3 condos on the market. Today there are 56 which is still only half of what it was pre-covid. There were six new properties that came on the market in mammoth this week. One is already in escrow and of the others only two deserve mentioning.

New Mammoth Lakes Condos for Sale

Krystal Villa East #304 is a 1+1 downtown. It is the least expensive condo currently on the market. Could do with some work and updating. HOAs $485 monthly. $390,000

Crestview #37 is a 2+2 located between The Village and Canyon Lodge. End unit with great light. Recently upgraded. Underground parking. Per the seller…. Gross Rents in 2022: $79,566 and 2023: $84,211. HOAs $546 monthly. $775,000

Have a wonderful weekend and let me know if you have any questions or if you would like to grab a coffee or see any properties!
