As summer graces Mammoth, the town transforms into a breathtaking wonderland. While post-snowfall hours are beautiful, June in Mammoth is truly breathtaking. We've had ten new listings hit the market this week - eight condos and two houses.
What an incredible week it's been as spring blooms in Mammoth. The air is filled with the promise of warmer days, and dramatic afternoon thunderstorms add a touch of theater to our skies. In town, the rain falls gently, while up on the Mountain, the snowflakes continue to dance. As of now, the Mountain is expected to stay open for skiing until June 17th, 2018, extending the joys of winter even further.
Mammoth woke up to a surprise in May – snow! But that didn't stop us from getting ready for the summer season. The town is sparkling clean and ready for action. In the last seven days, the Mammoth real estate market saw eight condos and one house hit the market, along with three new condo listings in June Lake.
I know I keep saying this, but summer really is my favorite time of year in Mammoth Lakes and the Eastern Sierra. This summer feels more special. I think that is because it feels like we fought for it. This past winter, the biggest on record, felt like it would never end… and it still hasn’t, at least on Mammoth Mountain.
