It snowed on Thursday morning!  Brrrrr!  Ski season is coming.  There are some photos below. On Monday SCE cut power to the entire county out of an abundance of caution because of high winds and increased fire danger.  It made for a romantic candlelit evening.

This weekend is Oktoberfest.  Come and help us celebrate and preserve authentic Bavarian Oktoberfest culture.  There is a social mountain bike ride on Saturday organized by SEMBA with options for all riding abilities.  In order to participate you need a Bike Park pass or day ticket.  And while we are on the subject of bikes… this Saturday and Sunday join us for some E-Bike events.  If you have always wanted to try an electric bike here is your chance.  Meet at Footloose at 10:30 on Saturday for an organized ride. $10.
