Mammoth Real Estate Week-in-Review

What a week it has been. I swam in June Lake and competed in the Ezakimak, the race to the top of the Mountain from Main Lodge. Below is a photo from the top. Last week’s Art Fair was spectacular with lots of local artists and some returning guest artists. The metal booth, below, is always popular. There are also photos of some of our hikes from the week, the insane sunflower (volunteer!) outside my condo with 30 buds on it, deer from this morning, and a flier for a photography workshop with Bob Kent. If you are interested in photography and need an excuse to come and enjoy Mammoth in the fall here you go!!  It is just $50!

Let’s jump into my favorite new listings and then I’ll give you a rundown of this weekend’s events.

Condos

Krystal Villa West #22 is a 1+loft with 2 baths. It has grossed $44,000 so far this year and grossed $55,000 last year. Near Footloose, Good Life Cafe, Uncle Jimmy’s BBQ, etc…  $349,000

St Anton #57 is a 1+1 walking distance to Canyon Lodge. The unit has a view of the Mountain, covered parking, and a gas wood stove (no upgrade necessary). $385,000

Snowcreek #208 is a 1+loft with 2 baths near the Snowcreek Meadow. Highly coveted end unit with extra windows.  Remodeled in 2015. Pellet stove. $449,000

Tyrolean Village #12 os a 4+2.5.  Lots of potential and lots of space. One of the few condos with a private outside area, great for pets.  Needs a remodel. $529,000

Mountainside #14 is a 3+3 with a private oversized two-car garage.  Brand new construction. No one has lived in it yet. One side of a duplex, across the street from Canyon Lodge. The deck is engineered to hold a hot tub. The rental potential is great.  $1,395,000

Houses

115 Beaver Trail is a 3+3.5 with a two-car garage on a quiet street between The Village and Canyon Lodge.  Comes with a Durango 4X4. Great deal and priced to sell. Seller financing is available.  $699,000

703 Canyon Blvd is a 4+2 recently remodeled house on a knoll above Canyon Blvd.  Removed from most of the Canyon Blvd noise.  Sunny and bright. 1.5 large blocks from Canyon Lodge. $749,000

This is another weekend of many choices when it comes to fun.  For the athletes we have the Mammoth Grand Fondochosen as a “top-ten century” bike ride by Bicycling Magazine for its “jaw-dropping vistas”. Choices between 102, 70 and 42 mile routes.  Cyclists come from all over the world for this spectacular ride. Also for the athletes out there is the Graniteman Challenge. It is a three day event. It started today with a 2.4 mile swim in June Lake. Saturday is the 102 mile Grand Fondo bike ride and on Sunday is the 12.4 mile Tioga Pass Run. Ouch!!

For the music lovers head over to the June Lake Loop for three days of music at Gull Lake Park.  The annual June Lake Jam Fest is tons of fun.

For the art lovers don’t miss MAC Mono Arts Council gallery. It is packed with great art from local artists.  Beautiful things for sale and proceeds benefit art in Mono County.

On Sunday the Mammoth Storytelling Festival at Hayden Cabin runs from 12-4. Sit by Mammoth Creek and hear local storytellers share tales of adventure, history and humor.

The hiking right now is fantastic. We had rain this week so the trails are packed and less dusty and some of the wildflowers are back!  It is still warm enough to swim in June Lake too.  If you want insider hiking info just ask. I love sharing my favorite hikes.

As always let me know if you want to see any of these properties or if you have any questions. Have a wonderful weekend.
