Mammoth Lakes Real Estate Week-in-Review | 24 May 2024

Skiing, Golf and Mountain Biking

Wishing you a wonderful Memorial Day weekend.

Mammoth Lakes Tourism has put together a guide to help you get the most out of your time in Mammoth. There is tons of great info and useful links. Check it out here

Be on the lookout for bears and deer. They are very active at the moment. Remember not to leave any food in your car as the bears are masters at getting into locked cars! Yesterday was the opening day on the golf courses and on my way to the office I stopped to chat with some of the first golfers. They had seen an ‘enormous’ bear on the previous hole. Before I got to work, I spotted a small herd of deer hanging out under some trees just off Old Mammoth Rd. They are there every year. Photos below.

The East Side Bake Shop has moved from the McGee Creek Lodge, into town. Yay!  They have taken the space below Mammoth Tavern on Old Mammoth Rd. Elizabeth the owner and head baker makes everything from scratch. They have delicious food. Grab-and-go or eat at one of the tables outside.

Mammoth Lakes Real Estate Update

There have been some great new listings come on the market in the last week. Inventory is growing with 17 houses and 57 condos currently available in Mammoth. No changes to the inventory in Crowley and June. Of the new listings, here are my favorites.

Of the new listings here are my favorites.

New Mammoth Homes for Sale

550 Ranch Road is one of the most well-built and beautiful houses in Mammoth. A gorgeous Craftsman with exquisite attention to detail and no expense spared. 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths and a two-car garage. Stunning enclosed deck with hot tub, BBQ and eating area. In one of only two gated communities in Mammoth. HOA $100 monthly. $3,450,000

318 St Anton is a gorgeous 5+4 with 3 car garage. Located in the Knolls neighborhood a couple of blocks from the Village. Great family home with tons of space. Great for entertaining and hosting a crowd. South-facing. 3493 sqft. $2,999,000

286 Ridge Way is a 4+3.75 with 2 car garage. Backs up to the Bell-Shaped parcel open space. Open concept living-dining-kitchen. Views. South-facing. 3113 sqft. $1,649,000

37 Snowridge Ln is a 3+3 with 2 car garage. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac between Canyon Lodge and The Village. Could do with a remodel but is a solid house. South facing. 1595 sqft. $1,150,000

78 Beaver Court is a 3+2 with tons of potential. Third bedroom has been divided into two sleeping areas. Vaulted ceilings with tons of light. Metal roof. Large south-facing deck. $899,000

New Mammoth Condos for Sale

Summit G-60 is a 3+2 across the street from Eagle Lodge. You can’t get much closer to the slopes! Top floor, high ceilings, enormous bedrooms with room for tons of people! Washer/dryer in unit. HOAs $759 monthly. $1,200,000

958 Fairway Circle is a 2+2 with private one car garage. Immaculate. Views of Mammoth Rock and during the winter (when the leaves have fallen) Mammoth Mountain and the Gondola. Great unit. Townhome, with no one above or below.  Close to acres and acres of open space. Washer/dryer in unit. The only drawback IMO is that the garage is a bit tight. HOAs $758 monthly. $1,049,000

Woodlands #40 is a 2+loft with 2 baths. Townhome, with no one above or below. Washer/dryer in unit. HOAs $800 monthly. $840,000
