Summer is Here in Eastern Sierra
Mammoth used to be known solely as a ski resort but over the years we have become more and more known as a four season resort, with summer starting to rival winter as far as number of visitors is concerned. No weekend is this more evident that the weekend of Bluesapalooza, our annual beer and blues festival. Over 80 craft breweries from all over the country descend on Mammoth for the event, with the grand tasting happening on Saturday. An impressive number of great bands are booked to play the four days of the festival, including Los Lobos, Trombone Shorty and the California Honeydrops.

Mammoth Lakes Real Estate Update
Inventory continues to improve slightly. We are still below pre-pandemic levels, but way above the 3 condos that were available over the holidays of 2021. Interest rates remain high. I am often asked if now is a good time to buy. My response is always the same….It depends on what your goals are. If you are looking for an investment I would suggest waiting. If you want to spend time with your kids in the mountains then you should have purchased yesterday. The number one regret I hear from friends and clients is that they wish they had purchased when the kids first expressed interest in skiing and hiking rather than tried to wait and timed the market. For many of them the market was right, right when their kids didn’t want to spend time with their parents. My mantra is… I can make more money but I can’t make any more time. So, if you are looking for an investment then waiting my well open up more possibilities. But if you want to spend time with your kids, family or friends then jump in now.
