Festivals and Events for Summer 2024

Last weekend was the busiest of the summer with Bluesapalooza, Mammoth ‘s annual beer and Blues fest. Four days of craft breweries and some fantastic acts including Los Lobos, Trombone Shorty, Devon Allman Project, Grace Bowers and Mammoth’s own The Felt Cutouts. The weather was divine and fun was had by all. Some photos below.

Schools are beginning to start again but there is still much summer left in Mammoth. The days are long and the temperatures are perfect. The lakes are ideal for swimming, paddleboarding and kayaking. Below are some of the festivals and events still in store for Summer 2004.

Mammoth Lakes Real Estate Update

Most of you will likely have heard by now rumors of the National Association of Realtors’ Settlement. The real estate community is working hard to understand how this is going to impact our industry, how it will change how we work with buyers and sellers and how to explain the changes. August 15th is the day that our local MLS is implementing the necessary changes. There is somewhere in the range of 70 new contracts, many of which were not finalized until a week ago or so. Once I have a clearer understanding of it all I will be posting some information, but with the caveat that we anticipate that the contracts and rules will continue to change until all the bugs get worked out. More change is inevitable. In the meantime I am happy to answer any questions you have. Call, text (310) 795-9161 or respond to this email.
